Sorry it's a repost but no one answered my questions in my first thread

What's the difference between a 3156 and a 3157 bulb? are they interchangeable? And what bulb goes in the 01 model headlight? The HIDs are too expensive for my budget so i'm just looking to get xenon(?)/hyper white replacement bulbs. What type fits in my model and any good suggestions on any good brands? And lastly, is it safe to use the hyper white bulbs in the fog lights? I think I read some people say the housing(?) burned and needed to replace it after using the hyper white bulbs.
