2000 MAXIMA SE WITH 16" STOCK RIMS- STICK. ....I recently installed Tokicos and Eibach springs. The ride on pot holes feel really good and i can run pot holes faster now, but what really sucks is that the car bounces like a ball when i'm on a smooth road. WHY THIS IS HAPPENING??? ANY IDEA WHY???? My stock suspension never did that before. Did i used the wrong combination? or is there another shocks i should have used instead? Please fill me in here. I felt like i made a big mistake.

It should bounce, but not like a ball. Make sure they installed the Eibachs.

um.. try to avoid potholes or go slower.. car feels floaty?? blown shocks.. car bounces like a ball meaning it feels like a boat? or is real stiff? and u feel everything in the raod? if it feels real stiff then that's the way it usually is but if it feels like a boat then u need new shocks.

Did you install new Tokico's (the Performance model) as well?

When I recently installed my Tokico's and H&R's, I got somewhat of a floaty ride on some parts of an Interstate. When I would go over a bump or dip, it would give a floaty feeling, but it wouldn't bounce. I found this to feel better than stock. I was pleasantly surprised. However, the H&Rs are said to be more like stock unlike the Eibachs.

Thanks guys. Yes i have the Tokicos from SHOX.COM, but i didn't check to see if it was HP or not. Maybe i should have used the factory struts instead and wait for when the KYB comes out. Do anyone knows when KYB's are coming out? I will have to change the front struts ASAP. The front is the one that bounces, even when i go fast. I didn't do the installation myself, i went to Eastern Autoparts in Queens NY. They way it's driving right now, would that damage the Eibach springs??? I'm waiting for the KYB. I had KYB B4 on a 93 maxima and i know what KYB delivers. I regret that i buy the Tokico blues. They are not better than the stock. Nissan was right about what they said "SPORT TUNED SUSPENSION" the stock shocks is better, but I can't complain about the Eibachs....they are good for handling and looks.
