sts comparison which is better pace setter or b&M?
woah the stillen one is expensive.. i didn't knwo that they had one either. it goes for about 205 where as the lowest i've seen the b&m one go for was 139 and the pace setter for 80.30
Yea, it is the most expensive of the three....I did my own research on them and made a few posts asking about the differences a while back....had so-so responses on both the B&M and the Pacesetter, but nothing but good things about the Stillen, so I decided to pay up
The only thing I dislike about the Stillen is that it keeps the stock height, more or less, of the shifter itself - I was hoping for something a little less tall. However the shorter shifts and the overall feel of it more than make up for the fact that it's just as tall as the stock one.

The stillen one is great. N34JZ has a SMC but he says my Stillen is much better. Now most people get it to shorten the height and Stillen's doesn't do that, what it does is keep the stock height and make the shifts shorter. The stillen has been great for my car and I love it.
i was about to get the pacesetter when i tried a stillen sts in a 4th gen and was sold. I purchased one used for $150 last week.
but if i had to choose between pacesetter and b&m, i'd choose pacesetter because the height and throws are adjustable

i have the pacesetter and it is pretty good. I think i have had it on there for about 35,000 miles. I did not adjust it all the way down but i did get a much shorter shift and reduced the hieght of the shifter. It uses the stock shifter mount so it is a pain to put in but once in it is solid as a rock. i say go for the pacesetter
