25lbs isnt awful for a 20" but you have moved the mass further out so more inertia must be overcome.
Look for 1 or 2 tenths slower at most, top speed will not change

you try and go up to 140 something on 20's and if you don't scare your self half to death. I know I won't try to top out with 20's
dude man there is no way 20's weigh 25 pound without tires, if they do they are some cheap 20s that will crack very easily for sure, when i has 20's they weight 35lb and those were pretty light weight compared to other 20's

Hey Dude,
What kind of grills and front spoiler lip on that Merlot?
just would like to know how much it would slow me down by... i have the tsw thruxtons.... 25 lbs was just a rough estimate.... they may be more.. but there's not much wheel so i dont think it will be THAT much more.... going into this i knew it would slow me down....but i wanted to know by how much.......... i guess if it's 0.1 - 0.3 or wutever... it's not that bad....
A serious thought with 19's and 20's is any kind of road hazard can bend a wheel. You are in Atlanta so not as bad as Chicagos certain death to your 20's.
I went with a 17 forged 14lb wheel for speed and Chicago road safety.
But they are not nearly as hot looking as a 18-19" wheel

in Chicago i feel i'm in night culb
From what I've read, every 1" increase in the diameter of a tire will decrease peak torque (at the wheels) by 13 Ft Lbs and will knock off about 15 HP. It all depends on gearing and other factors but that's about a middle of the road esitmate for power loss as you increase tire size.

anywayz... just letting everyone know that i got my wheels...they look pretty good.... pictures will come once i get my kit installed which should be pretty soon.............. i wanna put a pic of everything on together.... more of a WOW factor that way... =)...
You'd be surprised how much difference they can make. I saw a mag a while back (Sport Compact Car?) where they were trying to improve a G20's ET for no cash. It was the one where they ended up stripping it down to nothing, if you ever read it you will remember they chopped the roof off, lol. Anyways, they replaced the blinging 20" chrome wheels with the stock 16" wheels and shaved over a second off the ET. I don't remember exactly how much. I will have to look for the article when I get home tonight.
damn... that much..... well i guess that's ok.. i try not to speed anymore since i have so many points on my record.... i can probably buy another altima with the money im paying for insurance currently.... shiet....
but anytime i get the urge to speed... i can still rely on my 50 shot of n2o to get me back up to par... =)... might have to bump up to a 75 shot for the track if i wanna get better times i suppose.... my question was only to get a feel for what i'd be running at the track now....

I got 20" giovanna attacks and those weigh like 35-4- lbs a piece and then the tires. 20 lbs per rim for 20's...something aint right there. RE-read your box that you got the rims in. What kind of wheels did you go with?
