Thank goodness I didn't get this lip. PJ was very responsive in the beginning when this deal was coming together. Now, after collecting lots of money, he has disappeared and the few people that actually talk to him getting nothing but lies. As a business owner myself, I have always been as honest as possible. If the customer wasn't happy, I took the extra step to make them happy. Apparently not everyone feels the same way and screwing fellow Maxima owners doesn't bother their conscious.

If PJ is having a hard time right now, it won't get any better when angry Maxima owners start driving to NJ to look for him.

I went ahead and ordered my replacment lip through South West Autoworks and man, thats the way buisness should be done . Got my Maxx tuning lip in less than a week! Really great to deal with. Jordan was real sympathetic to my dealing with PJ and let me have it for what I had paid Maxx tunning. $199.00 delivered. The spoiler is definatley worth it. IMO it is a better build quality than Stillens. ( it is a thicker polyurathane) than the rest of my Stillen kit too. Maxx Tunning gets no love

Yeah, once again I got burned to for $199 for the Lip which I paid last year in December. I'm trying to figure out how to get my money back too. It seems this guy just got greedy and took the money and ran. I also got burned from the deal on the EyeLids from the other group deal.

I will never deal with these group deals anymore, thats for sure. Now I will probably end up buying from SouthWest Autoworks which you other guys claim is good.

But I am going to fight for the money back as well. I wish we could get together and file a law suit on his business. Really bad ethics.

Does anyone know Peter well? If so can you talk to him or find out what's up with him and his company?

I didn't even know he was 22 years old. If I did, I would have thought twice about putting a down payment on something not even made yet.

I called maxxtuning today to give my final warning before filing complaint and there isn't even an answering machine now. So this sucks. I think I'm going to go ahead and file a complaint through paypal.

Well, I just checked into paypal and you have to file complaint within 30 days of the transaction. So basically PJ is gonna keep my $200 without me getting my lip. I hope it goes to good use.....like posting his bail.

I was trying for the last month and half to reach him and finally spoke to him on May 3. He told me all the B.S about him being sick and his computer crashing due to virus' but told me he would send me my lip today. It is now the 14th and still no lip. Been trying to call and reach him again and nothing. I think I'll be making the trip to the store this week and deal personally.

While its true that Paypal buyer complaint must be made within 30 days, IF YOU paid using your credit card, all you have to do is call them and explain that you never received merchandise. When you file this Chargeback, credit card will get your money back from Paypal. It will then be between Paypal and the guy who took your money. So, if you all were smart enough to use a credit card, call them now!

If/when you make the trip down to PJ's shop, would you be kind enough to find out whats up with everyone elses orders? That would be greatly appreciated.

I used paypal which is hooked up to my bankaccount. I guess I wasn't "smart" enough to use a credit card like you cuz I figured this guy supplied alot of stuff to maxima owners and everyone was happy with his business
I never thought something like this would happen.

I never purchased anything from this guy, I am simply offering advice. I feel bad for you guys, you trusted this guy because he actually owned a store etc. and now you have been taken...

Remember this, when you use Paypal, ALWAYS USE YOUR CREDIT CARD. Even though you used your bank account, your bank may provide a level of fraud protection, but not to an extent of what credit card offers. I suggest that you go to your bank and talk to a manager immediately. Explain them that you used Paypal and got scammed by the seller. They can try to get your money back for you but its not guaranteed. If you had used a credit card, you most definitely would have got your money back.

Also, those of you who got scammed should get together and call his local police... 3 or 4 similar calls, they will definitely send a cop to his house...

Well I just got back from Union NJ. PJ is gone. The shop is closed and only a few things remain inside but basically empty. I went next door to a neighbor store and asked but she also told me he went out of business, he's been emptying the store out over the week. I left her my number to call me when she sees him again. Looks like we got screwed.

robbery by maxxtunning

To all maxima owners who paid for a front lip from maxxtunning he is going out of business and he is stiffing a lot off maxima owners. I went to the shop today in new jersey and the shop is for rent, we need every one who paid for a lip to call the better business bureau
