Umnitza,
I noticed water on the ballast after it rained. Will that burn the ballast?? I am not sure if other ppl have ever noticed water behind the headlight and on the ballast.

Why are you selling the BMW guys the same bulbs for $120 a pair but the price for us is $150? Thats seems kinda lame.

The reason is BMW guys use D2S bulbs with their Projectors and 5th gens use D2R bulbs with the shield built it cause they use reflective headlights. There are alot more cars that use D2S bulbs so thats why its cheaper.

By the way im interested is a Pair of D2S in either 6k or 8k. Where can I buy?

Hey guys, Im new to the hids. My cousin installed his old phillips hid kit in my original 5th gen housing. I read enough to see that this isnt recommended, but itll have to do until i get money for a better lamp. One of my bulbs seem to be going out but i have no clue how many kelvins they are. They appear like a bright white with a little blue or like a mild bright blue. Any ideas?
i was thinking either 8000k or like 6500k.
what happens if i put a lower amount of kelvins or a higher amount than whats in there ?

I'd get the Umnitza special, 6000k ProLumen HID retro-kit. I bought 2 so far and I love them. Bright as hell!
