I finally got the nerve to try to install my HIDs on my own without using anyone's writeup. It wasn't as hard as I thought, but I'm experiencing some issues that Dixit and others solved a long time ago. My HIDs flash when my alarm goes off, and my marker lights turn off when I turn on mu high beams. I think the problem with the marker lights has to do with the ground wire I used (the low beam ground), but I can't combine the high and low beam grounds because it made my HIDs flicker. The way I have it works, but I feel it can be improved. Any suggestions?

where did you get the hid's from? how much?

 

I bought them on eBay from a seller named cooldado4. Most of his recent auctions are new-in-box Maxima HIDs. Here's a link to the auction I won:

I got these for $375 a piece, plus $35 for shipping. They came in unopened Nissan boxes, and were completely new units. I don't know where he gets them, but they don't seem to be stolen.
