Help... Door Creaking!!! Sounds Terrible

Hello,

Recently my drivers side door has started to creak and pop loudly when I open and close it; it sounds terrible and is actually embarassing! What exactly do I need to lube or replace to fix this?

Thanks

that just shows that you havent brought it to your dealer for service.. because they grease all the hinges and stuff when that happens

Mine recently started making a rubbing sound. I've narrowed it down to the front corner of the door that overlaps at the windshield/hood area. The corner actually rubs the rubber and makes a noise. Not sure what I need to do there.

Well just so you know....I have the same problem and i know what is causing it......Where the Rubber Seal Along the door meets the corner of the front part of the door (as you get out: toward the front...) there is a peace of the door that seems pointed and that causes the rubber to rub on the door.....I use Armor All each time i wash the car on that little spot and the door stops creaking.

and it's now quiet (if that was your problem)

Thanks I will give that a try tomorrow! I think my problem might be a little moree than that though, I get a mechanical cluncking/poping noise, anyone get this at all?

And to scopium regarding the dealer... YEAH RIGHT! My car has been at the dealer twice in the last month; once for tranny solenoids and another for a TCM...

I had a "popping" noise coming from my passenger side door whenever I opened it. I put up with the noise for a while but then when I looked at it there was just a loose bolt. Hope this helps.
