I'm going in for service on my 6 sp 2002 SE (22K) in a week or so and was wondering if anyone has experienced the following:

- The manual shifter seems to have gotten looser and has developed a loose rattle sound (especially from 2nd - 3rd and 3rd - 4th).

- When hitting a small sharp bump (slightly raised manhole cover), there is sometimes a knock that almost sounds like its coming from the steering column. Its very dependent on tire pressure. Anything slightly above 32PSI and it happens more frequently.
