What speed does third gear top out at on a 2k1 Max, auto, se? Also, what is the top speed on the same car with the auto? Is there a difference in top speed between SE,GXE,GLE?

1. don't know about auto....3rd on a 5-speed is just under 100mph...auto probably higher.

2. don't remember....but you don't want to do the top speed crazy man.

3. no. difference is in the suspension and a few other minor things. Engine is the same and top speed is not affected. Heck the tail on the SE might knock 1-2 mph off the top speed due to drag

i believe top speed of 3rd gear is 120 mph-ish

I came close with my old 2k1 auto, but I chickened out at the end

i hit 130 in 3rd on the dyno in my auto. not sure how wind drag would affect that or if it would do nothing but just taking it longer to getting there.
