Sorry guys I'm so anti Powertech ever since I put that crap on my car. After that nightmare and putting on the budget b. I wish I had just bought a complete catback in the first place. For now buy some tips to get welded on the stock muff and save up for the complete cat back. You'll get noice with abosolutely no gain and if you ever got a b-pipe it would make that crappola of a muffler sound even worst.

I swear this is my last Powertech bashing in a thread. I'm tired of typing about it.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm

Not to bash you, But you have an Automatic. I got the Powertech with 2.5" piping from the catback to match the inlet of the Powertech for my 6 speed. Maybe it sounds different with an Auto compared to a 6 speed. I have noticed better pick up in the low end and also I love the sound. Not ricey, plus it looks like stock compared to all the rice cans out there with a huge opening on them.
Poweretch has a nice design to it, free flowing and no welds showing like most mufflers. I guess it all depends on someones taste, whether you have Auto or Manual.

Personally I wouldn't put that on your car, it'll be a lot more trouble in the long run to have it made right. Just go with a Greddy and be done with it. It doesn't have a dual tip, buy you can't get your own exhaust made for the same price that is as good quality.

The Maxima muffler is very good to begin with. You might just want to do a y-pipe and B-pipe and keep the stock muffler.

Greddy is too quiet.

I have a powertech 1011 and a WSP Y-pipe and i am just tickled with it everytime i remote start my car and here that low rumble. I drive on the freewat a lot and have no drowning, just at speeds between 30-45 mph but that is just from being in to high of a gear. Also my girl friend said that my car was pretty quiet until one day i floored it getting on the freeway. I started at 35 mph and ended up at 80 mph. She said that my car was so loud but she loved the acceleration. In all i love my setup the only thing i would change is the b-pipe. I just dont want any drowning.
