Intake Questions

I just purchased an Evo2 and I am plaining to buy a CAI. What is the best CAI for my 2000 SE? Where can I purchase it? Also, is it worth it to buy a short ram intake? Any suggestions? Thanks!

I got a Frankencar intake for my 2000 SE and I love it. It gave a great sound and a lot more power for 2500 rpms all the way to the redline. But I lost a little low end power. Check their website at frankencar.com

nether of those are CAIs technically. more like WAIs. Place Racing makes the only true CAI for the max. actually, i think some other company also has one - but can't recall who it is.

Injen, Frankencar, Wolf Tech, Stillen, Cattman, Berk, a generic Injen off ebay, etc, etc - those are some your choices for WAIs.

i just installed on of the knock-off Injen's i got from ebay. looks and installed just like a real Injen for a third of the price. sounds great! very pleased so far.

of course...someone is soon to tell you about the GAB and OSCAI. i've tried them both.

I haven't had much luck finding the PR CAI as of late. It used to be sold everywhere but for some reason I can't locate it anymore. Anyone know who still sells them?
