Bulbs again

Hate to beat a dead horse, but I've been digging through the bulb info for my 2002 and need a little help.

I popped the hood and checked out the bulbs I want to replace in the headlights. I'd like whiter high beams, and I'd like to replace the 194 wedge bulbs for the running lights.

Are there any other bulbs I should consider? I'm ok with the turn signal bulbs.

Somebody put up a list of led lamps they purchased from Autolumination, but these guys only take Paypal. I like the looks of those bulbs, but the 9 led version to replace the wedge bulb looks like it might not fit in the housing. The 6led version looks fine.

Any alternate sources of led bulbs would be appreciated.

The high beams - I pulled one and it says HB3, but I don't see those listed by most of the major brands like PIAA on websites etc.

I'll check the manual, but links, opinions, and confirming info appreciated guys.

Thanks

Bulbs again

Thanks - Sweet!

Saves me the work of looking it all up, or taking out to check them.

Thanks again

Gettting back to Wurf's question about the 9 and 6 LED bulbs, does anyone here know if the 9 led works, it seems it would have the nicest light output. Has anyone tried it, or does anyone have suggestions on what would best match the factory HID's?

You bumped a 3 year old thread -_-

Yes, 9-LEDs will work and they are bright. For more $ you can get hi-power LEDs which are even brighter.

Wasn't my intention to bump a thread that old, but the rules are to search, and I'm not here to break them, lol. Will that 9 LED fit? Is the output at least as bright as the stock filament bulb, and will it be a good match to the HID's?

go to www.autolumination.com for the 194 LED's.

But go to www.eautoworks.com for the other bulbs. Me I'm not to fond if PIAA bulbs because they get dull looking for me quick.

for the other bulbs, like the high beam and the fogs, I used Silverstar Ultras. They weren't too bad a match, and they really are useful. Later on down the line I will buy the HIDs, but there's so many opinions and so much you need to do to make them work it seems, so I'll have to do my research.

Thermostat bulb question. I have a '03 SE with the digital thermostat (titanium edition) and the left side is dark at night. The controls still work, but just not lit up. The display and right side are still fine. I recently installed a new Pioneer HU and this problem happened shortly thereafter. Dealership tells me you have to replace the entire unit and can't just replace the bulb - $380 rip off. Anyone know if you can take this thing apart to get to the bulb? If so, what kind of bulb is it? Thanks.
