I started up this a.m., and I noticed that I had a rattle sound just after it turned over. I thought I saw a post on this at one time, but since I can't search, I thought I'd ask. I also seem to remember that it might have been a TSB item....but not sure on that. Does anyone know if it is a problem or just an annoyance. It only happened the 1st time. All other times after that...no repeat!

 

ive had the same problem from day one, but only when doing a cold start. no fix yet

 

Here's the link to the TSB for it. Mine does the same thing intermittantly. Its the VTC sprockets. Had mine in for service last Friday and asked them to fix that and OF COURSE the technician didn't hear the rattle when he started it up. Bring it in and drop it off the night before and pray that he hears it. Got my crank/cam sensor recall done also.
