Underdriven Crank pulley, problem please help...
This morning I decided it was time to have the Underdriven pulley install, we start to loose the pulley tensioner, everything went fine until it was time to put in the new pulley, the long bolt on the pulley tensioner was all torn and broke, so we had to fabricate a bolt to replace it since the dealer is close until tuesday, anyway we manage to fix that problem but then we proceed with the installation of the new belt but both where too short, so we had to chase many local car store to find the proper one. Finally after we found one of the two belt, we decide to start the car and see if the engine would fire up, but the car is vibrating, so we stop it to see that the timing ring is hitting the crank sensor, also I notice that the timing ring on the new pulley is not at the same position as the original was so I'm a little skeptic...
We took a break for lunch so before we finish the job should I just trim the little notch on the timing ring ? Any suggestion since we cant move the crank sensor away to clear the notch on the pulley. I've been in the garage since 8:00 am and it is almost 1:30 pm and I'm near to be pi$$ed with that foken crank pulley. Anyone have been thrue this before ?
Thanks for helping.

Hey guys, when I put both pulley side to side the timing ring on the MS pulley is not align with the original one, so we had to put the orignal one back + I have a 250$ bill in labor to pay and the pulley tensioner need to be change what a foking day. I'm really not happy, a job that should have take an hour turn to be a day job, anyway got to go get the car.
Thanks

Just got back from the garage and we found that there was a one of the 3 metal thingy missing on the timing ring, that's what was making the engine running crappy. I now have to contact MotorStorm to get another timing ring. The garage owner was nice enough to only charge me 1 hour for the 6 or 7 they worked, at least now I know what's the problem.
