any issue with your BACK brakes should not make the steering wheel shake.......

But I suggest if you want help here, you be a little more specific and detailed with your question. No one here will be able to give you a specific answer to your vague question.

Describe what EXACTLY was done to your car
Describe EXACTLY what the noise is .."sounds like my car is going to fall apart" doesn't tell us anything useful.
Have you taken the back wheels off and visually inspected the rear brakes?

Well I had a my brakes changed all around. But now when I hit a bump the back of the car drops down really hard with a thump!! I thought maybe my wife had put something in the trunk but it was empty. This happen soon as they changed the brakes.

Thanks

sounds more like suspension problem rather than brakes.

have you doublechecked loose bolts. that should have been step 1.
and i know this sounds crazy...but someone tried to steal my 16" stocks (dunno why) and as i was driving home, i kept on hearing this noise. it lasted maybe 2 weeks. in those 2 weeks, i was lifting the car up and moving the steering wheel back and forth to look for a ripped boot, etc.... but nothing. it was only after i finally moved the wheel, did i realized that 2 lug nuts were missing, and the other 3 were loose.

moral....have you checked that your wheel is on tight?

HATER. For some people English IS a second language.

P.S. What kind of BREAK pads did he use. I had crappy pads the car behaved the same way.

Did you turn your rotors before you installed your new pads?
