4th and 5th Gen Stuts the same?

I got a good price on 4th Gen Koni's. Can i put 4th Gen struts in my 5th Gen Maxima?

how much? people have done it but i'm pretty sure it requires modifications to your stock struts...i've heard it's well worth it, though...i heard the koni's are great...make sure they are koni yellow adjustables though

What kind of modification is needed?

I think I've heard the fronts are the same, but the rears are different? Any confirmation on this?

Yeah, the rears are different for sure, but I'd imagine the fronts are identical. The rear struts on a 4th Gen have 2 bolts holding the strut in whereas the 5th Gen has 3 bolts. If I'm wrong, someone PLEASE correct me.

i think it will work since the 2,3 bolts pieces don't have to do with the struts themselves since its just a mounting piece (separate from the struts).
