Rear Deck Question

Just kidding. I am pretty sure that the rear deck is secured by spot welds, so I don't think its going to be a simple process. Also, what are you trying to accomplish by removing the rear deck? Its a structural piece and would not suggest removing it IMO.
Some in the past told me how to remove the rear deck. I just want to put some sound proffing on the metal parts of the rear deck so that it would stop rattling. I had a walkthrough about 6 months ago but was not ready to do it. I am now ready but lost the link to the walk through. I was told to use egg crates.

I did it today it took about 2 hours to take everything apart and get the matters cut and glued. I am letting it settle down for the night and tommrow morning I will put everything back together. I did get an idea however. My friend had a boss system and when he put in aftermarke subbs they ported the whole. I am thinking about cutting out a piece of the deck where the boss would have went and port my subs as well
i did that a few weeks ago and i bought a matching bose grill for about $30 from my dealer. i think it helped get a little more bass in and cut down on the rattling too. the only thing is... you can hear stuff in the trunk. i.e. golf clubs clanking together after a nice day of golf.
