changing the climate control

Just wanted to know if anyone has changed their maxima from the regular heat/ac to the climate control. is it a direct replacement at the harness. Its in a 02 se.

It is probably not worth the effort unless you REALLY really want it. The automatic climate control is much more sophisticated than regular heat/AC as far as I know... I'm not sure if the regular heat/AC uses a digital network to communicate with the devices like the auto climate control does, and there are a number of little sensors located throughout the dashboard/etc. that you have to use.

Although I'm sure many dealers have done the swap when customers requested the option...

haha simply said, you can't put a digital one in if your car doesn't come with it. The harnesses are totally different.
