Some may remember me, others have no clue. I used to own a 1995 SE, sold it due to the purchase of a house and receipt of a company vehicle. 3 years later, I have moved onto another position and gave up the car. Purchased a 2001 Sentra SE. 6-months later, I have realized that 35mpg is nice, but it's too small for my wife and I.

I notice that the search feature doesn't work here anymore. Don't flame me. I am looking at a 2002-2003 GLE or SE. Ride quality is important; I won't tolerate shakes, vibrations, clunks, etc. I considered the Altima 3.5 until I read about the suspension problems with that car.

The Maxima will not be modded at all. I think I want the 3.5 Engine, but read of the butterfly screws coming out of the TB---is this common enough to pass on the engine and buy the 3.0 VQ30DE? What other areas should I look at in terms of problems? The car will be an auto and will have to come with leather.
