SES Light
Hello
I was wondering if anyone is having or had a problem with there SES
light, I know it kicks on if the gas cap isnt tight but this time it is not
going off.
Its been on for about 4 days and it kicked on when I had about half a tank of gas left. (so im sure it wasnt the cap not being tight) But I retighted it anyway.
Should I take it in, or just give it a few more days ? My car was serviced about 3 weeks ago and I was told that I should get the major service.
Is this a trick to get you to come back for the service or is it something that will correct itself.
Let me know if anyone has had this issue with there S.E.S light.
Thanks

It's pretty common for the SES light to come on in 5th gen's. Mine has been on for the past month (loose/cracked gas cap according to the guy at Autozone. Which, btw, you should also swing by there and have them pull the code just to make sure you know exactly what casusing the light to come on.) Your car still under warranty?
