Hello,

I just got Maxine back from the shop yesterday. She is a 2000 with 85k miles. I had the dealer take care of the failing MAF sensor. It cost me $300 for them to install. I contacted Courtesy Nissan parts for a price on the MAF and they quoted me $547. So based on the jacked up price quote it was actually cheaper for me to let the dealer do it. Of course I checked here and saw some people got the sensor for less than $90

There are some other things that need to be done. I will be willing to handle some of them myself. I need a new Starter, Serpentine belt, and it's time to change the plugs.

Where is the best source for genuine nissan parts? Starter specifically.

Should I be concerned with putting the genuine Nissan parts on the car or would say a NAPA starter be suffcient?

they had a part which all the nissan dealerships i called didnt have and www.thepartsbin.com shipped it over night. It was a master brake cylinder. The price was also cheaper than the dealerships. It is kinda difficult to navigate through the website but you can always call thier 24hr 1-800 number and find out. If you get your order in before 3:00pm central time it will be at your doorstep the next day and they will also give you a tracking number.

But first try the two mentioned above.
