900 rpm idle, normal?

I recently installed copper top spark plugs and hotshot headers. It seems like my car idles higher now than before the mods. Is it my imagination? Does anybody know what a 3.5L 6speed should at? If mine idles higher is that harmful? I don't remember what it idled at stock, but at normal operating temp it at 900-950 rpms now. Thanks for the help!

that seems rather high for a manual. autos idle higher and my rpms is just over 700. i had mine bumped with the consult to around 725 but mine did not change after my header install. maybe someone with an fsm can provide your stock spec numbers but that seems too high.

Use the procedures to reset the ECU's. The last procedure (Idle Air Volume Learning (Throttle Position Learning) will restore the idle speed.

Mine usually idles around 900 when until it hits operating temperature.

Thanks for your help VMaximus. I did that and now my car went from a 900 rpm idle to about 750-800 rpm. I don't know exatly what it is supposed to idle at, but it seems more normal now. Thanks again.

Since i reset the Idle Air Volume Learning It was down to about 800 rpm. After about 30 miles of normal driving its back up to about 900 rpm again. Some help please. Is this bad? Is something wrong? Any advise? Thanks again
