Floor Mat Upgrade Options

About 20K ago (with only about 35K on the car), my heel tore a hole in the OEM floor mat. In the past, other cars I've owned had the area by the heel of my shoe reinforced. Unfortunately, the Maxima's mats are not. I'm wondering if anyone has already researched upgraded/replacement options. Please post here what you've found and any recommendations you may have for me. Thanks!

I had Diamond Plate Floor Mats for about 4 months. They look awesome, but get too scratched up too easy. I have had Nissan's All-Season Floor mats since the Diamond Plates were removed, and I could not be happier with them. They are made of real thick rubber and have grooves that trap dirt, sand, water and ice. They fit perfectly and look real good if you have dark colored carpetting. Really worth the $60 they cost from Courtesy Nissan. Good luck!

i've always been fond of the i30 mats. the rear especially, since it comes in one piece and covers that middle hump. there is a user on ebay that sells them, unfortunately he doesn' have frost color interior. i believe he only has grey and black. very cheap too, like $55 for the set.
the way i see it, yeah rubber mats, plastic covers, all of those will protect it....but....does it look good. the cloth mats look real nice and for me, replacing them once a year isn't that bad at all. we spend more than that on bulbs, throwing a couple bucks for brand new mats once a year, that's fair to me.

Get the Nissan all season mats... had them through the winter and couldn't be happier. They look very sharp also.

Well, my interior is black and I've got the medium gray carpeting so it seems this could be an option for me. Can you tell me more about the Infinity mats? For example, is the driver's side front mat reinforced for the heal of the shoe? And, do the mats have the Infinity name or logo on them - if they do I'm not sure I'd want them.

I also appreciate everyone else's responses. It seems that the rubber OEM Nissan mats might be the best way for me to go. I very much appreciate the quick feedback. Thanks!
