Was going home yesterday on the highway, noticed this yellow boxy car weaving in and out of traffic in my rear view mirror. As he got closer i realized it was a Mitsu Evo because of his massive intercooler in his airdamn and he had "Evo" as his windshield banner. I was doing the speed limit and he got behind me and flashed me to move. I did that gradual press on the gas pedal to half way and the Max kicked down a gear and took off , he followed as i saw his nose rise alittle but to my surprise i put a solid 3-4 car lengths on him when i pulled off. We had nothing but clear highway infront of us so i opened it up ! When i hit my desired top speed, i had a solid 2 car lengths on him with no intention of me pulling or him gaining anymore. We were moving and he couldn't catch me......

We both let off as we were way over the speedlimit but as we got back to cruising speed, he rolled down his window and so did i. I told him good run and he asked what did i have under the hood? i told him just an Injen intake and running some race synthetic Amsoil(not a mod in my case), his mouth dropped and he was shocked and said a curse word to himself and shook his head.I asked was he stock, he said yeah and his car was only a month old. He said he thought for sure he was going to pass me with ease, but his car just didn't have enough steam to do it! I told him yeah but if we were running from a dead stop , i would have gotten my a-s-s served to me. He laughed and said yeah.... we both gave each other a wave off and went about our own way.

I am amazed at the 3.5 Maxima, this car is freaking incredible, i thought for sure he was going to pass me like i was standing still, but old Maxine held her gorund once again!
