cleaning the Apexi filter

Does anyone know how to clean the filter?
Housecor cleaned his in cabin filter with soap and water, do I just do that?

IF anyone cleaned it, any feedback and advice would be awesome. later

You don't clean it. It's use and throw away. If you try to clean it, you might damage the filter element. It wasn't designed to withstand being cleaned.

THANK YOU! I never knew that.. haha damn. Does anyone know where to get another apexi besides frankencar.com and do you think JWT is better??

I suggest a K&N filter. Look in the group deal section for it. Cobymoby is the man for that

Berk sells the Apexi's as well as K&N's for very reasonable prices. All you need to clean it with is a good vacuum. That should provide you with some more miles.

I change my APEXI filter every 30,000kms not miles KMS..

its cheap insurance

Really? I just bought a K&N filtercharger cleaning kit to clean my Injen CAI filter. Should I not do it?

im pretty positive that if you have an oil based reusable filter you can use the k&n cleaning kit. There is another company that uses blue oil also.
