Slush box oil change question
I dropped the pan and changed the oil and screen in my 2k automatic last night and have a question.
When I installed the new screen I noticed the 1 stud that accepts the washer and nut was loose. It would not unthread or screw in, just seemed to kind of float. I was still able to tighten the nut a small amount before the stud started to turn, but not before I was able to reach the 78 in-ibs (6.5 ft-lbs) of torque.
I was carful not to mix up the other bolts. They all tightened fine. It is just that stud that confuses me.
Anyone else noticed this or have any thoughts?

Try switching some of the other bolts and see if one fits correctly.
My mech. had a good memory and is used to the job. I couldn't remember which went in which hole if I did the job.
good luck, Mike

Actually they are not that hard to figure out which bolts go in which holes. The stud was strange and yes it is just basically hangin loose and a nut threads on. I didn't have a problem removing or installing you just have to lightly get it started then
tighten it up, it should be snug.
tighten it up, it should be snug.
