Hella Horns

yeah How much louder are they from stock???

It's pretty loud. Definitely louder than stock. It has pretty high pitch to it.

If you are looking at getting an aftermarket horn, also look at the 350z horn. My bro put it on his max and it is louder and deeper than stock. I hate it when we park next to each other and lock our cars, mine sounds next to his.

i think i bought my cars with the hella horns... except i only have 2 instead of 3. never heard the stock horns, so i wouldn't know...

I have the hella twin air horn set up (have had it in all my cars). Scares the shat out of people and was simple to install on my 02.

How about the PIAA horns? Anybody have those? They are suposed to be loud and higher pitched, kind of like a European Exotic

Well, I have installed the 350z horns and a fellow maxima.org memeber audatious has the hellas and so does redstradic. There are ear piercing loud while the 350z horn for me was just right. low tone and not too loud but not wimpy either.

that and if there is some dumb person not paying attention almost hitting your car. or if you live in mass. you can alert the person at the light that turned green that it is now green if they dont move within the first 5 seconds

haha nice, biggest reason why we need hella horns.
