not off ebay... but i drive salvage (title says rebuilt) 00. no problems at all. i bought it over a year ago off the auction, and friendly shop fixed it for me.. gave me 3 months warranty. total cost including registration etc... $9K it had 28,000 miles. not even one problem since then... (maybe except coils ;-D)
Well, I didn't mean just on ebay, I mean in general. I just used ebay as an example.
Was it hit pretty bad?

not really only front right.. had to replace radiator , headlight, grille etc. both airbags ;(
no major damages.... it doesn't have clean title, but runs flawlessly, and i paid like $5-$6K less... i could spend some of that money on new sound system etc.

mine was this kind of a damage...
this is 02 with 35K miles on it... 5spd.. someone will buy it for $7-$8K, add 3-4K for repairs... and you have 02 max for 11-12K.... can't beat that...IMHO

Don't buy the car if you can't go and see it with your own eyes. And personally inspect/drive it. Last year my Dad got a salvage 2003 Deville, loaded. Needed about 10k, but he only paid 9k for it and it is sweet, no problems or anything. But that's cuz he actually went to go look at the car and make sure it was what the guy said it was.
lol you guys are hilarious...
why not buy a salvage car again???
Mine was salvage when a bought mine for 7500 Canadian with 46,000km's
I bought a whole front clip and changed everything...
runs perfect..
i'm lovin it
