2002 owners with the cattman y installed

2002 owners with the cattman y installed
Installed the cattman y yesterday and did not have any real problems.
The instruction sheet that came with it said to extend the o2 wire.
I did not do that i just rerouted the wire and it fit fine.To those that have installed it what did you do with th o2 wire.
