Anyone out there found a clean way to remove trim around windows? Anyone just painted over? Looks horrible with Black and tint. Any assistance appreciated!

I agree.

Black car...Limo tint...BOOM! Nasty chrome trim.
It sticks out "wicked bad!"
Didn't previous SE's have all blacked out trim.
I heard to paint on the trim, you first need to apply
an etching primer to rough up the chrome to make
the paint adhere.
Must get...rid of...chrome...trim...

Electrical or Black out tape seem to work okay but they are obviously just covering it up. I agree the chrome sucks. I've posted on it before too.

First off it is polished stainless steel. The more you try
to cover it up, the more you de-value the car for resale.

Well... if you do a crappy job they'll notice. But if you do a good job.. who would notice is right. I mean its not like people buy the max cause it has chrome window trim. Just tell them you didn't feel like paying for that option
