Passenger Front Window Screeching

Hey guys, when I open or close the passenger front window it screeches as if there was no oil in the power thingy (?) Was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this problem?

Try spraying some silicone spray along the track where the window rides along the rubber strip. This usually works.

YES! I have the same problem on my Max but I kept forgetting to post about it. I'll grab some spray ASAP and see if it helps. Good looking out

Wd-40 works but it only worked for me for about a week. I just did it again on saturday and also used some stuff from pep-boys called "GOld Magic" (or something around that name) its basically just a grease and has worked well up to this point, but for sure its that rubber seal along thr inside door.

Nissan sells a silcone spray for about $5. Go get that at your local dealership. I did about a couple of months ago and have yet to have any more screeching sounds. Not only that, but it will work great for just about anything else that needs lubrication on your car or around the house.

How to fix problem of windows rolling up slow and squeaking.
RED - Run a wet rag in the window track then spray whole thing with silicon spray.
BLUE - Wipe inside both rubber pieces with wet rag.

you want silicon because it is water based (or KY i guess). anything potroleum based will be bad for the rubber and streak the window.

No, don't use lithium grease. It will only make matters worse. It will smear the h*** out of your window. Just go to your local auto parts store and pick up a can of silcone spray. This works wonders! And it only costs a couple of dollars, maybe $2-$3 at the most.

NAHH MANG DONT USE THAT STUFF I USE VASELINE!!! CUZ YOU KNOW I PREFER THE STICKINESS AND THE HEAT IT CAUSES.

BUT, SERIOUSLY dont USE WD-40 BESIDES THE FACT THAT YOU WOULD HAVE TO REAPPLY IT EVERYTIME AFTER IT RAINS, OR YOU WASH YOUR CAR. IT RUNS THE ENTIRE WAY THROUGH THE INSIDE OF YOUR DOOR AND IT MARKS ON YOUR PAINT AFTER IT COMES OUT ON THE UNDERSIDE OF THE CAR.

Hey guys.. what about this Silicon spray that has petroleum distillate in it, but the label says for "rubber". Should I use it? I know anything petroleum is no good, but it says for metal, rubber..

it's generic stuff in a spray bottle from Canadian Tire ..
