Went to nissan today paid for a $80.00 car wash since the P0420 code and engine diaognostic said I need a new CAT. Which one should I get. Warpspeed, Randon . . . .? because the one from NISSAN is freakin $700.00

try checking the classifieds..people sell their used cats occasionally for very cheap...or if Tennessee doesnt do emissions testing then just get a straight pipe off of ebay.

 

Doesn't Nissan have to replace them until (8 years/80000 miles)????

 

Yea nissan will replace them but Im way out of warranty 92K miles. I will more than likely get the warpspeed its only $175.00. unless other segestions come up.

 

Yea TN dose the tessting and they use a mirror to see if you have a CAT converter. Pretty tight here
