Get 6000k. Check Hamy's site. But you won 't have the same exact look because the Audis have projectors and use d2s bulbs.

audi's, saabs, 04 maximas, etc....all use around the 4000K area bulb...the reason theirs look blue and/or purple is because of the projectors. if you look at a car that has projectors but with halogen lights, at some angles you can see HID-like white or even blue. get 6000K for the blue look.

Bohmen bulbs should outlast your car. You are probably looking at $100+ easily

I would be okay with if it's under 200. Is it right that the higher the # of K, the more blue/purple look?

BOHMEN Premium 8000K D2S/D2R OEM Replacement Discharge Bulb(Pair)
Price : $ 275.00
Sale Price : $ 229.99

Yes the higher the kelvin, the bluer or purpler the light. But then the light output decreases.

D2S is for projectors, They don't have the strip on them. Which causes some killer glar for oncoming traffic.

D2R bulbs are for ours which have the strip.

I have the Bohmen 8000k D2S/D2R and they don't have a strip.

these are some older pics when I first got them. Since I have changed my other little lights. Don't mind the second pic I need a tripod to take better pics at night.

IF you want the Audi Blue you mentioned, there is no way your going to get that color with these headlights. Regardless of what calvin rating capsule you toss in there.

The only way to get that kind of blue tint is by retrofitting projectors in there. Thats a lot easier said then done, especially with the OEM housings.

PhxBlue & myself did a retro not too long ago & the comparison between my OEM hid's & the projectors wasnt even funny. Looks though.
