Does anyone make an aftermarket shifter for the 6-speed cars? This has got to be the thing that annoys me more than anything about the car - the horrible stock shifter. I know it's a cable shifter, so it can only be so good, but there's got to be something better than the stock unit. Anyone?

nothing produced yet. my hopes are still in the looking, like you are. however, i am coming to believe one will never be made. it is b/c of that damn reverse mode.
