blehmco brake kit....
The kit is designed specifically to fit the 2004 Max rotor with the 300ZX 30mm caliper, or the OEM 5th gen caliper- whichever you choose. They will ONLY fit that rotor and caliper combination. feel free to shoot me an email if you have any questions on it. tech@mattblehm.com

its time for brakes and its really tight with money, so im looking for the most bang for my buck. i have decided to go with the blehmco relocation kit, but i am ordering everything else seperately. for instance, i am getting the 04 rotors of off jerryrome nissans page because we have the discount. i also have a discount from pepboys, which is where i am getting my greenstuff pads from and i am getting the ss brake lines from goodridge. the approxamite total for all is 430.
Nothing wrong with that... I got my rotors from DAVEB, and pads online from importrp.com (PBR Metal Masters), and the SS brake hoses I already had from last fall from Automax_95 (techna-fit)
If you do the stock caliper relocation kit, the stock (or SS) brake hoses will fit fine..
as for where to find the lines,
http://www.hoerr-racing.com/
www.techna-fit.com
are both suppliers that I've used in the past.

How much better are the 300zx brakes? Also you cant use them with the factory 17's correct. Or could i just wheel spacers to create enough offset for the calipers.

They are PHENOMENAL. I did pre and post tests on stock and on the new equipment and was able to whittle down my 60-0 times an average of 15ft. On some of my better stops, I was able to knock of 20 ft. Pedal feel is GREAT (no sogginess at ALL).
You will NOT get the 300Z calipers behind the stock wheels. I am not even sure if you used a really large spacer if it would create enough room. I have Konig Verdicts and it was so close, I ended up needing a 5mm spacers to make sure it fit correctly. If the raised Nissan wording portion was not there, it would have been a perfect fit.
He is how they look on my car

So do you use the 04 max rotors or the 30zx rotors? Is the blehmco brake kit te 300zx brakes?
Blehmco kit is basically eighter stock calipers or 300ZX calipers relocated to fit over 04 Maxima rotors which are ALOT bigger than the 300ZX or stock Maxima rotors. These are just as big as the Brembo brakes on 350Zs and G35s. Matt also sells special braided lines to fit the 300ZX calipers on the 5th gen and braided steel lines for the stock rear brakes. I belive that Sumitomo 300ZX calipers are better than the Brembos on the 350Z and G- simply cause U can get all kinds of diff brake pads for the 300ZX calipers, and getting a set of pads from AutoZone or Napa for Brembo calipers is going to be a challenge.
Look at Matt's web site, under the Brakes section.

You use the '04 Max rotors, NOT the 300ZX rotors. You pick which calipers you want to use, that determines which brackets you get with the kit. Oh, and forget about using the 300ZX calipers under stock 17's. No way unless you want to use at least a 30mm spacer-obviously not!
