ok, at certain RPM's there seems to be a type of clicking noise eminating from the TB's location. also when i shut the car off the same clicking noise comes out but goes away quick. no codes. any ideas?

i understand you are concerned about the noise, as would i but there is no need to bump the thread after less than 15 minutes. have you done any maintenance lately? maybe the throttle or cruise control cable are loose. did you remove the plate between the tb and intake manifold? if so, make sure you tightened everything back up.

 

i think i know what you talkin about. it goes like " click clicK " when u shut off the car.. don't know what it is.. but i dont get it when i'm driving..

hasnt affected anything so i dont really bother..

sloppymax I UNDERSTAND YOUR POINT AND DINT MEAN TO BUMP IT AND AGGRAVATE ANYONE, BUT I WAS ON SOUTH BEACH YESTERDAY AND THE SES LIGHT LIT UP. TODAY BEING FOURTH OF JULY MONDAY I CANNOT GET THE CODE PULLED, I THINK IT MIGHT BE LINKED, DAMN FLYING MONKEYS UNDER THE HOOD.
