Q about eBay Projector Headlights

Ok, I have a 2k2 with the OEM HIDs, but I was thinking of possibly replacing them with those eBay headlights that actually look pretty cool and I don't want to lose sleep about my headlights. Now, would the factory ballasts and bulbs fit with no modification? I know by default, they use an H4 for the low beams and H3 for high beams.

Since these were initially designed for 2k and 2k1 models, I read that there's a gap? What gap? Why is there a gap? Does that mean people who put 2k2 lights into 2k or 2k1 bodies have an overlap?

Has anyone done this?

Hey, i have a 2k2 with aftermarket projectors, you can do it yourself, i did.
you have to rewire the headlight , the gap is minimal, it wont make a big difference, and you install these projectors which i kind of like more then stock oem hid's .. the light shoots straight and the high beams are sweet

Okay, a lot of you guys got those projector headlights. It looks great and all, but none of you guys got a night shot of those projector lights.. can someone please take a couple of min. outta their busy schedule and take some night shots of those projectors please? It'd help people like us that are thinking about getting the projectors understand how the beam looks at night. Thanks.

People have taken pictures and they said the lighting is kinda weird in a way and eventhough they say its an h4 i have read that they are actually h3 so if you have an h4 hid kit i dont think the bulb would go in without modification.
