Finally joind the Hot Shot club

Matt (SR20DEN) just finished them today well he did them friday but there was some fittment issues. He is an awsome person to have work on you car he realy know his stuff. He spent extra time that he did not have to just to make it right. If you are considering The hot shot headers think long and hard the fittment sucks.

Yes

What issues did you have, I had problems with the back header touching the firewall and also that back header didn't line up with the y pipe.

that was/is my main fitment issue as well. on 2k-2k1, that ac line is metal and does not bend. if it was tapped, im afraid it would bend too much and alter the ac operation. sr told me that the 2k2-k3 had some softer compound, maybe hard rubber, i cant remember off hand.

the back header was hitting the steering rack. it was vibrating the whole freaking car. Matt ground down the bracet is was touching and we where in buissness. i like the sound and the look of the header i just would hate to be the one to install them. hct67 how did you fix the problem?

Hmmmmmmm

The place I had put them on was very patient. They actually had to cut the Y Pipe to have the rear header match up to the Y Pipe. Also they had to bang up the floor area by the tranny so they could put the o2 sensor in.
