i've seen it somewhere here on the org that a couple of you guys have painted the bottom turn signal lens red to match with the brake lens.....my question is how did you guys do it and if it was with spray paint how is it transperent??

 

I just replaced the yellow bulb to a red bulb

 

Yea, you have the 2k tail lights which is clear on the bottom so get a red Polarg bulb. They match the brake light perfectly.

 

i've thought of that but i wanted a whole red lens instead of red and clear ya know?? i like the way it looks like that....

 

buy GXE tails and paint the surround black.....then you will have it....

 

no no no maybe im not saying it right i love my se tails, i just want the turn signal part to be red to match the brake light lens not the WHOLE tail light.... i've seen people with the 2k2-2k3 tails that had the turn signal part lens red and it looked real nice

 

VANS red spray paint is the best quality translucent paint out there. Testor's doesn't match perfectly, but it works too..

 

oh yua?? and where can i get my hands on some of that good stuff

 

It's still clear on the blinker...he wants red there....
