what do you guys think... i have 2000 Tan GXE . what would look good?
i have all red tails.... planning to get black se tails soon... so i was thinking about black projectors.. but .... i dunno... they look good on silver max... but tan.. ? here's pic..:

hmm... tough call, I'd probably go with chrome to keep it a little more "stock" looking... sometimes agressiveness won't look good with tan... whyd you get tan?

 

i think black if your getting black tails

 

i've been asking this myself for over a year now... ;-) but people make mistakes... live and learn.. ;-)

so we have 2 black 1 chrome....
i was thinking to pickup chrome... i think they would look nic(er), but i hate those red tails. if i switch to black tails... maybe i should get black projectors...

it amazes me that people on here cant make a decision on their own. make your own decision and get what YOU think looks the best.

 

btw piotroosh,
i dont know if your nissan emblem fell off or you debadged it. (im thinking it fell off since your other emblems are there) but if you took it off it would look better if you cleaned it up a bit. remove the stickiness and fill in the holes. if you want to do this, lemme know and ill tell you how.

 

Soonerfan.. i can make my own decision ;-) but... i thought maybe someone had this problem before.. let's say bought black ones , put them on and didn't like the way they matched lets say ...tires... that would save me $250 ;-)

and the pic with chrome tails its not my max... just found the pic to see if i like them. I have "all red" on mine ;( and i hate them

 

i say paint your tailights body colored like i did

 

i personally dont like that look. especially since you can still see the line where the light meets the body.

I'd say go with black. I got 2000 GXE as well. I'm going to paint my taillight to black, so I 'll get black projector. My car is sterling mist ( kinda silver). GO WITH BLACKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK.

 

if i had silver.... i woud definitely go with black.... but i have tan... ;(
i can't find any picture of tan max with black... all i see is chrome.. maybe that's a hint for me that black is not a good idea...

i say go with black. they kinda look like AE lights but projectors and black tailights. but if you dont like that, get silver projectors with 2k2-2k3 tailights.

 

Go with black and get SE tails.

 

Your choice, this looks nice too with 2k2-2k3 tails.

 

I would get the cleared out HID 02-03 lights they look better and shine light better too.

MaximaPolak I had 300ZX NA in black before ya had your car.... alot of people think U are cheap to get nice looking wheels so you paint the stockers some ghey color. I went from 18s to 16s for racing only- and mine where powdercoated. Peace out.

btw, thats a nice gold max down there =]

 

it is a nice gold max except for the ugly lip and all the stickers on the side. and needs clear corners. but that is my opinion.

 

I know it's Pole but i'm using the Polish versoin meaning pole (polak)

I'd say go with the chrome projectors and the chrome SE tails. This is the route that I'm taking. Right now, I already switched from the black SE tails to the chrome ones. I think the chrome projectors looks so much better than the black ones on light color cars.

both chrome and black are photoshopped... didn't have pic of black ones so i painted it ;-)

 

Just get 2k3-2k3 HIDs and call it a day unless you're in Jersey!

Go to page 2 of my cardomain site. The first thread has a pic of a black max with the black projectors photoshop-ed in. The second thread has a guy name PHX-Blue and he has a black max w/ chrome projectors. Hope this helps.
