New Mods...Gray Lustre Painted Grill, MT Lip, Leds, **PICS**

So I finally got my car in to get the MT Lip installed and painted, the grill painted and the front license plate holes filled in. The nissan dealer I bought my car from did the work....they have a brand new paint booth and do very good work. They quoted me $250 to do the job oh and that also included painted the whole front bumper. I picked my car up...total bill $127.20. I really love the way it looks just need to clear my headlights, install my angel eyes and leds in the sides and I'll be set....for now.

WOWW, the MT lip came out very nice!

Just curious, when you say they painted the whole front bumper, was that to color match or blend in with the lip? Also, how long did they have your car in the shop for? I have my MT lip and Stillen rear section I need to have done.

Looks great mang! I like it a lot! BTW, you should really drop your max. Maybe on Maxspeeds. You should also get the Stillen sides and rears soon to finish it off. Once again nice work.

VQPowerSE..I dropped it off at 8am and it was done at 4:30pm. The bumper was painted to fix a bunch of scratch marks and chips from stones, cinders, etc...winter conditions up here kill my maxima. But at $127 to paint the whole front I might just do that every year.

2k3TitaniumSe...Yes indeed, I forgot to mention I installed a custommaxima strut tower bar the other day...and will be getting the rear sway bar soon. As far as ground fx...I was thinking sarona sides and stillen rear...but I have on a PT1012 and am debated whether or not getting the dual exhaust setup from custommaxima.com....if so would the stillen rear be able to be modded to house the dual exhaust...As for the lowering...I've put 57k on in 13 months but I may have a job change soon that would lower my mileage to "normal" (15,000 a yr).
Do the maxspeed's make the ride rougher?? Thanks guys.

Damn even 250 sounds cheap.. I was quoted by someone 225 just to paint and install the lip.. Do you have a hookup cause that sounds unbelievebly cheap.

Very nice, Jason. I love the lip. As you can see, I'm a fan of painted grilles. Now clear those HID's and get some eyelids!

Bluesbrekr...Really like the painted hamburger. Working on the clearing the HIDS but don't know how eyelids would look with a stone deflector.

djfrestyl, MikeD95SE, My "crazy hookup" I suppose is buying the car, and getting it serviced there all the time....which do to my mileage for work is an oil change every 3-4 weeks. I did have them paint my hood in december that came out to $400something.

Painted grill looks great. You might consider selling the bug guard and getting a clear bra for around 65. It'll really clean up the look on the front end.

what kind of reflector is that on your hood. Looks awsome.

where did you get it from and how much?

cost of install? hard /easy? hard /easy?

i have a 2000 grey lustre...is there a difference in color between 2k and 2k3 grey lustre? 2k3 seems darker for some reason(could be the lighting)

I've got the clear bra. It has really helped keeping the front of the hood from getting chipped. $65 is about right.

The deflector doesn't look bad, but I prefer the bra.

Jason, maybe consider the bra....then you could add the eyelids.

Jason, the car looks great man. I'm sorry I haven't got back to you about clearing your lights and installing the DDEs. I'll free up a weekend so we can meet up and get this done. Brenner really hooked you up with that price. So it looks like i'm not the only Max in PA with the MT lip! Good work man!

custommaxima.com around $60 or 70.
diy install takes 2 minutes. for install use 4 self tapping screws....the double side tape that they send doesn't work. very very simple. it was 8:20 when i took the pics and the sun had already gone over the mountain so it looks darker than it really is.
