ok guys, what do you think about projectors on a 2k3 pearl white maxima i just ordered them in all chrome yet i know thery have a bit of a fitment issue its ok , i was thinking about throwing hids in them do you guys think they will look ok or should i return them and stay with stock oem headlights.? i got em real cheap , shipped to my house for 220 .

 

You should have gotten the black......it would make it look like an AE...

 

im not really going for the ae plus i didnt like the black ones for some reason . they didnt stand out

I would stick with the OEM HIDS. From what i read, putting HIDS into a halogen projector is a serious no no.

 

Those 'projectors' will look like lemons with HIDs in them. Why, even the photos of them with halogens look like crap. Drill them out and put in some valeos, a6, e55 or s2000 in there and you have a winner.

Imho, ditching totally decent oem lights for cheapo aftermarket and expecting them to look anything like an oem projector is impossible. They are cheap. And will perform cheap. How they look it well, up to each one to decide. But heck, buy em and try them and take photos... nothing to loose if you want them anyway.

 

actually i see that custom maxima put those projectors on ther red max and put 12000k hids in them without changing projectors and they loook AWSOME !

 

They may look nice from CM, but the light output sucks on the road.

 

so where'd u get em for 220?
