i just install my cattman y-pipe last week...i already reset the ecu and all...i notice better performance and mileage on my car since my last fill up...anybody notice this on their cars? i have a 00 se auto with only y-pipe as performance mod..

 

strange i get worst gas mileage... but i also need to keep righty off the petal...lol

 

I have also seen a gain in MPG. Anywhere from 20 to 30 miles more per tank. Even with a heavy foot.

 

I'm not sure yet! i need to find out.

I just returned from the muffler shop where I had my Stillen Y Pipe installed. I disconnected the battery while they were doing the install and I think that it was long enough to reset the computer. I filled up the tank on the way home and will post mileage when I run the tank down.

As far as performance gains, I really don't feel any and there seems to be a little bit of torque loss. Maybe I just need to let the computer readjust.

I am thinking of getting an HKS rear and was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a 2.25" B pipe w/resonator to attach to the HKS and will this mod be worth it?

 

There shouldn't be a TQ loss anywhere with a Y-pipe
