2001 AE repair timeline??

I had a question about the 2001 AE model, mine has about 35,000 on it, and I have the option to add an extended 2 or 3 24,000 or 36,000 extended warrenty on almost anything except brakes, wipers, etc. for 950-1200 dollars. Has anyone had any major problems from the 30k to 60k marks of their cars? What is likely to go and when? Anyone that can help would be awesome. Thanks again.

coils- around 240 bux- but still covered under powertrain till 60K. MAF sensor- 60 bux. Clutch on a 5spd model- not covered by any warranty.... There really aint nothing wrong with 5spd AEs. Autos like to slip on 1-2 shift- but that would be under 60K mile warranty also.

the only problems i've encountered are the OEM tires, those need to be replaced ASAP.

other than that no problems @ 45k miles.

75k on my Y2k Max and I am having some emission sensor problems. They are covered under the extended warranty but not the emissions warranty. The dealer has charged me 800 to repair one problem and 940 to replace all 02 sensors. I just bought them for $340 and am going to do it myself.

Other then that, no other problmes.

Oh already replaced the tires ones. I went with OEM as I think they are just fine for this car.

I had the option when I bought my car (used). It had 26k on it, and I didn't get the extended warrantee because I put a lot of miles on quickly, and most of those miles are highway. I don't think the car will break down often enough to justify the price of the coverage over the amount of time the car will be under the milage limit. Sounds confusing but basically I dont think I'll pay enough repair bills before 72k/100k to justify the extra money. Mine is an 01 AE also, by the way

Between 60k and 75k I had my coils and transmission replaced under my extended warranty. I think the cost of the 2 of those still doesn't equal the cost of he paid for warranty, but it gets closer when you include the $400 for the rental cars I had while the work was getting done.

p.s. I have a 2k 5-spd.
