Dead Pedal Install

I'll be installing my dead pedal this weekend. Planning to drill a hole in two places where the stock pedal is then use those plastic pressure push screws to hold it on.

For those that have installed Wild *****'s or another brand using self tapping screws, is there anything behind there?

From the looks of it, it is just a raised area ABOVE the floor board. Kind of a hollow area with nothing inside.

there is a metal plate that is raised up from the floorboard and thats what the max's dead pedal is.

i just drilled some holes through that and that was that. pretty simple. i just used drywall screws and everything still feels pretty solid.

pretty easy mod, the end result is real nice

I just used the screws Wild ***** sent with the dead pedal. No drilling needed. It's been on for almost a year and still holds on pretty firmly.
