Break Pad Dust

anybody know what the best brand is for the least amount of Brake Dust??? i have Brembo slotted rotors w/metal matrix pbr pads, and they are soo dirty after only a few days, i think they are staining my rims... i have one OEM pad on one of the rears(dont ask why) but that one compared to the other rear is nothing, fairly clean....anyone know a decent brand that i could get that doesnt do this?? thanks!

hmmm..I actually have Bendix titaniums on the front and they're not too bad on dust...the OEM replacement pads on my back dust like crazy though!

Here's an idea - just take all the brake pads out....then you'll get no dust

Hey stick with the OEM'S they're pretty dust free. The noise and dust of replacement pads are not worth the effort in my opinion. besides I have'nt had a need to stop on a dime yet, and when I do i'm quite sure the oem's will do the job.

I also find the OEM pads to be pretty dusty...For some reason my back wheels seem to have more brake dust on them, you think it would be the fronts..

you should check out the detailing forums. i use eagle 1's rim cleaner with an old toothbrush and it does the trick for me.

i hear you on that 10 mins ago cleaning... after i cleaned my car and drove it to a friend's house, i noticed brake dust back on my front wheels
