Bulb Longevity

Im in the market for a new lighting system ive come across piaa h4 replacement bulb. I read some reviews on the bulb say they dont last long. Would it be better to just wait and get me a hid kit. How is the longevity of the hid bulbs cause i dont wanna be buying bulbs all the time. If u could give me some links to where i could purchase hid kits and also where to find the 2k2 headlight assembly my search for them hasnt been good.

A bump? After 9 minutes?

If properly done with quality components HID systems technically outlast halogens.

HID conversions outlast halogens as well? If so, point some this way.

I would say so. Bulb life depends on the bulb, and halogens work by burning a filiment at really high temps. And due to this, sooner or later the filament eventually evaporates causing the bulb to burn out. Whereas HID uses a different system which will allow it to last many times longer due to the usage of less power and the different way it operates.

Hella/Phillips seem the best bet. They are the same stuff used in a lot of OEM systems.
