Well, I'm fed up with rotor warpage... Dealer just keeps resurfacing the OEM rotors (twice already in 22k miles) . I'm looking for a brake pads and rotors combination that gets rid of this annoying rotor warpage and steering wheel vibration.
I'm satified with the braking power and quietness of the OEM setup, so I'm basically looking for comparable braking power and quietness and no warpage.
I'm looking for recommendations based on your experience. Some people has had good luck running different pads with OEM rotors. I'm currently considering OEM pads with Powerslot rotors to replace the current OEM pads/OEM rotors setup hoping that better quality rotors would do the trick...
Let me know what you think...

none...powerslots will not reduce warpage. Hawk pads will not reduce warpage. The problem is simply the rotors are too small for the car. The solution?
get what I have, it works like a charm and I also just put them on my buddy's 2k1, who has no other mods and is not into modding - and he loves them.
btw, the 2k-2k3 rotors are 10.4" rotors. These use the 12" rotors from the 2k4 maxima.....

Why go with the larger heavier rotor and increase your unsprung weight. Just get yourself some frozen rotors and problem solved. Frozen Rotor site
frozen rotors arent the answer....2k4 rotors have way more advantages besides non-warping. Since the brake caliper is spaced outwards further, there is more stopping power, way less heat, just overall a better performing setup.

these look nice and not too expensive. I wonder if they fit under OEM 17s

nyautostyle - yes, the 2k4 rotors with the OEM calipers fit under the 17" SE rims. What does hitting a pothole have to do with anything...if you mean if you bend your rim...not a problem...unless you totally "taco" the rim....there's still enough clearance if you happen to bend the rim (believe me, I bent one last spring in a huge pothole)
mclarengts1 - it's pretty easy....takes about an hour with basic tools the first time you do it.
+1 on what chinanitrous said....

Frozen Rotors
The Frozen Rotors were purchased and installed on October 31, 2003 along with some Performance Friction Z-Rated pads. They probably have about 12k on them and there are no signs of warpage. In addition, they are the quickest stopping brakes that I have ever run on the Max or any other car for that matter, except for the Brembo/Baer Combo on my 5.0.
