CU vs Platinum Spark Plugs

I just replaced the coils and spark plugs on my 2000 Maxima. Napa wanted $13 each for the NGK platinum plugs and they needed to order them. So I decided to put in the NGK copper version. The car seems to run fine with them. Any concerns with using Copper instead of the platinum besides having to change them every 30K?

i run ngk coppers. coppers will burn hotter than plats and much cheaper. the downturn is they will not last as long. i replace mine once a year or about every 15k miles. you could probably get over 20k with them. with them being so easy to change, id rather have a newer, hotter burning and less expensive plug.
